GST E1-E6 £25,528-£30,189 FTE. Actual salary 36 hrs per week, 38.6 weeks per year.
About this Role
We are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant who will play a key role delivering high quality teaching and learning throughout the school (term time only).
The role will include:
- covering classes whilst teachers have PPA time, or are absent
- playground duties
- small intervention group work
- some 1:1 assistance with SEN children
- supporting in class alongside a class teacher
The successful candidates will work within a hardworking, dedicated and friendly team. There are excellent opportunities professional development and there is strong support for staff welfare, including a new staff well-being area.
The successful applicant will;
- be able to develop positive relationships with the pupils which motivate them to learn have excellent communication skills
- be an effective team member, able to use their own initiative
- be highly ambitious for the children and want to support them in their learning
- hold a HLTA qualification
- have knowledge and experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs
- ideally be someone who is interested in developing their career in Education
You must be able to support the distinctive Christian ethos of the school but you do not have to be a practising Christian.
Hours are 8.25am until 3.10pm.
