St Mark and All Saints C of E Primary School are looking for a casual enthusiastic, talented, energetic Teaching Assistants to help progress children and inspire them to learn new things.

An excellent opportunity to join a school in The Good Shepherd Trust academy within easy reach of Guildford and the A3. St Mark and All Saints have well-resourced classrooms and a supportive staff team.

The role will include responsibilities such as:

  • Supporting children’s learning (Nursery to Year 6),
  • Undertaking playground duties,
  • Preparing resources,
  • Assisting the class teacher as well as a lunch duty.

There is also the possibility of additional hours working in our Wraparound care Treetops.

What we are looking for:

  • GCSE grades of at least ‘C’ in English and Maths
  • The ability to read and write fluently and confidence in maths
  • Self-confidence, common sense and maturity
  • A good sense of humour and effective communication skills
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm
  • SEN experience (desirable but not essential)
  • Be confident to work with pupils from Nursery to Year 6
