St Paul’s C of E Primary School have an exciting opportunity for individuals  to join us as Teaching Assistants working towards a level 3 qualification.

We are looking to appoint motivated, conscientious, creative and caring Teaching Assistants to join our committed & hardworking team.

St Paul's C of E Primary School is an established primary academy in the growing Good Shepherd Trust. We believe in valuing and nurturing all our team and have a proven track record in supporting and developing our staff. Apprentice Teaching Assistants have the opportunity to start working in a classroom straight away whilst working towards their qualification.

The right candidate will have:

  • GCSE English and Maths grade 4-9
  • a proven ability to work on their own initiative.
  • good interpersonal skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults.
  • a can-do attitude. 

The working hours are from 8.30am until 3.10pm, Monday to Friday (28 hours 45 minutes per week) term time only.

The apprenticeship course will be run by BeReady and more information can be found attached.

Salary: Apprenticeship rate of £6.50 per hour.

Successful applicants must be able to support the distinctive Christian ethos of the school but do not have to be a practising Christian.
